In winter, it is as if we are in a state of hibernation, but we still continue to lead our usual active lifestyle: we study, develop, raise children and family, go to work and sports. It is in winter that we experience a state of increased sleepiness, our activity decreases, we become slower and we need more time to perform our usual activities. This is absolutely normal, but you should definitely support your body with a nutritious diet.
January is a time of plans, resets, and new beginnings, but at the same time, the holidays and warm dinners with family and favorite friends are in full swing. Emphasis shifts to the social function of food and cooking together.
The best dessert is homemade, the best leisure activity is a walk in the fresh air.
The diet becomes heartier, warmer and with more spices. Soups become thick, stews and stews - with protein products, particularly of plant origin.
In winter we more often include brightly colored unsweetened fruits (citrus fruits) in our diet, and for snacks we favor seeds, nuts: healthy fats that maintain energy levels for a long time.
